As you’ve probably already guessed, the checks required for a safety certificate are both extensive and thorough, which is why our staff at AVR automotive are on hand to help.
We cover all the basic vehicle safety standards for the components applicable to your vehicle including:
Please note that under Queensland state law a safety certificate is not a substitute and does not constitute a comprehensive mechanical inspection.
The tests and procedures applied during a safety certificate inspection will not ascertain the life expectancy or overall quality of your vehicle.
If you do require a full mechanical inspection aimed at assessing the potential value of a vehicle, please contact our friendly staff at AVR Automotive to discuss how we can work with you to provide this service.
It’s a point of pride for our business that AVR Automotive is noted by customers as one of the top automotive companies in North Brisbane. This means we’re recognised locally for our excellence in providing the highest quality automotive service.
Our safety inspections are performed with one goal in mind, to make sure that the vehicle in question is safe for either you or its next owner. We check every component and then check it again to make sure that every safety certificate we issue is in line with the Vehicle Inspection Guidelines set out by the Queensland Government.
If your vehicle fails to meet the minimum standards required to be eligible for a safety certificate, there’s no need to fret. Our expert mechanics are on hand to help maintain and repair any features or components within your car that were not deemed to meet the safety standards. We’ll work hard to restore your vehicle to a safe state and ensure that it meets the requirements necessary to gain a safety certificate.
Please note that just because your failed safety inspection was carried out by one automotive business does not mean that you are obliged to have the repair work done by the same company. If you’re unsure about the quality of work performed by your current mechanic, contact AVR Automotive and make the switch to a more informative and knowledgeable group of technicians today.
